Low-RPM torque converter (LRTC) with Integrated direct shaft flywheel

نویسندگان

چکیده

The low-RPM Torque Converter (LRTC) is a rotating generator concept for use on the seabed with driving force from sea waves motion surface. This built up of two identical generators connected opposite each other via spring drum built-in ball bearing clutch. to buoy surface wire, wire rolled around drum. With waves, moves either upwards or downwards and pulls downwards. movement causes spin.
article presents an upgrade LRTC upgraded measurement system, both hardware software.
A flywheel system thin-disc type has been designed direct connection generator's rotor shaft electronic measuring also developed more accurate measurements minor disturbances.
More detailed tests have performed purpose comparing systems explore performance in detail.
Three different experiments done this article. first were investigate see without flywheel.
third experiment investigated optimization mass by increasing addition thin discs.
All movements are simulated six-joint industrial robot. Several sinusoidal types wave motions time periods several real climate (data taken fields) show that provides advantages peak power, average output power softens oscillation.

Matrix Converter Induction Motor Drive Employing Direct Torque Control Method

The presented paper deals with the implementation of the Switching Table Based Direct Torque Control (ST-DTC) in the matrix converter-fed induction motor drive. In order to improve the control of the matrix converter input power factor, the use of the simplified Indirect Space Vector Modulation (ISVM) was proposed. To verify the feasibility of the proposed solution, experimental results were pr...

A low-voltage boost converter using a forward converter with integrated Meissner oscillator

This paper describes a novel boost converter to be used with energy harvesters that provide only low output voltages. The device is self-supplied from electric power delivered to its input. With peak power conversion efficiencies above 30% at start-up voltages down to 10 mV this circuit sets best values in comparison with the state-of-the-art. This is achieved by the novel combination of a Meis...

Flywheel Energy Storage System Based on Boost DC-AC Converter

To extend the operating speed range of a conventional configuration of FESS (flywheel energy storage system), an additional DC-DC boost converter is required between the machine and grid side converters to regulate the output voltage. This paper presents a new FESS based on three-phase boost inverter topology. The proposed system facilitates voltage boost capability directly in a single-stage. ...

Miniaturised “Low Profile” Module Integrated Converter for Photovoltaic Amlications with Integrated Magnetic Components

This paper deals with reliability aspects of Module Integrated Converters (MIC) for grid connected photovoltaic applications. The presented “Low Profile Design” of a MIC has almost twice the power density and a 70% longer lifetime than commercially available MICs. In order to miniaturise and increase the reliability of the MIC all magnetic components have been realised using planar cores and wi...

PCB Integrated Inductors for Low Power DC/DC Converter

This paper discusses the use of printed circuit board (PCB) integrated inductors for low power dc/dc buck converters. Coreless, magnetic plates and closed core structures are compared in terms of achievable inductance, power handling and efficiency in a footprint of 10 10mm. The magnetic layers consist of electroplated NiFe, so that the process is fully compatible with standard PCB process. Ana...
